PTFE优点
耐高温——使用工作温度达250℃。
耐低温——具有良好的机械韧性；即使温度下降到-196℃，也可保持5%的伸长率。
耐腐蚀——对大多数化学药品和溶剂，表现出惰性、能耐强酸强碱、水和各种有机溶剂。
耐气候——有塑料中最佳的老化寿命。
高润滑——是固体材料中摩擦系数最低者。
不粘附——是固体材料中最小的表面张力，不粘附任何物质。
无毒害——具有生理惰性，作为
人工血管和脏器长期植入体内无不良反应。
电绝缘性——可以抵抗1500伏高压电。
1.可用于棒、管、板、电缆料、生料带等材料的制作，经二次加工还可制成薄板、薄膜及各种异型制品，还可用作润滑剂、稠化剂。
2.可作为塑料、橡胶、涂料、油墨、润滑油、润滑脂等的添加剂。
3.可推压成型制成薄壁管、细棒材、异型棒材、电线电缆绝缘层、滚压成薄带作管道丝扣密封材料。
4.用于机械、电子、化工等工业，用于喷涂、浸渍等。
5.用于制浸渍涂料。
6.可制成棒、板、管材、薄膜及各种异型制品，用于航天、化工、电子、机械、医药等领域。
7.可制成高绝缘性电器零件、耐高频电线电缆包皮、耐腐蚀化学器皿、耐高寒输油管、人工器官等
8.用于电池、纤维布等。
9.可制薄膜、管板棒、轴承、垫圈、阀门及化工管道、管件、设备容器衬里等，用于电器、化工航空、机械等领域。
